As an emergency doctor who faces stress every day in the ER, I thought I had stress figured out. After a deployment to Afghanistan with a Shock Trauma Platoon I felt pretty confident that I could take whatever life threw at me.


Then it all came crashing down- the world that is! As I was about to walk down the aisle as a bridesmaid, I was ordered to leave the wedding immediately and go into quarantine. I was one of the first healthcare workers in my state to be exposed to the coronavirus!
